Ingredients

- 500 gr semolina;
- 100 grams of melted butter;
- 120 ml of orange flower water;
- 1 / 4 teaspoon salt 1 tablespoon sugar

Filling

- 200 grams of dates;
- 1 / 2 tsp cinnamon;
- 1 tablespoon melted butter;
- 1 tablespoon orange flower water.
Preparation

Filling: Cook the dates steam for about 20 minutes, let cool and add the remaining ingredients, mix and make two 'cigars'.
Pasta: Mix all ingredients and let stand for about 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into two and form two cigars, flatten it and put the stuffing in the center. Close the borders and rewind to reform a cigar.
Cut the diagonal, place on a baking tray and bake at 180 degrees for 35-40 minutes until the cookies do not brown. The original recipe calls for frying but I preferred to bake.
Heat the honey and soak the freshly baked cookies still hot. Allow to soak for 5 minutes and put in a school makrut pasta and allow it to drain the excess honey.
